Partly as a community service to St Mary's Church and also as a good excuse to undertake some social gardening, the group carries out light gardening to maintain the large garden at the back of St Mary's Church Hall. There are plenty of gardening gloves, secateurs and other tools available.
Members are advised to bring an apron or other cover for clothing like an old shirt and wear appropriate footwear, i.e. old shoes! No experience necessary as it can be treated as a workout. We trim back, rake up leaves, pot up bulbs and plants and generally have a good time.
