We are a group of Francophiles who meet fortnightly in Hammersmith, near to the Thames not the Seine.
We have varying degrees of fluency and all levels are welcome. We chat about a varied range of topics including local or international events, exhibitions, theatre, film, TV, books or whatever comes up.
We endeavour to understand and inform one another, much as a group of friends meeting in a French café might do. There is no homework or set books to study but personal writing and observations are welcome as we seek to understand and encourage one another on our use of the French language.
We all help each other if someone is struggling for a word - often we resort to the dictionary or even "franglais".
Our meetings last for about 1½ hours and tea/coffee is available if required.
